This site was created to support international students in managing Student Pass matters while studying in Malaysia. International students must maintain a valid Student Pass throughout their study period. Student Services

New Student

The Student Pass is issued by the Malaysian Immigration Department for non-citizens who reside in Malaysia for more than one month for educational purposes. The Student Pass is endorsed as a sticker in the passport.

Current Student

A valid Student Pass is required to continue studying at Malaysian higher education institutions. Students should monitor expiry dates and apply for renewal or replacement when necessary.

Dependent

Dependent Pass is available for eligible family members of Student Pass holders such as spouse, children under 18, legally adopted children under 18, or parents, subject to current immigration requirements.

Mobility and Edutourism

Mobility programs support inbound and outbound student experiences, while Edutourism offers curated learning journeys that combine education and local cultural exploration.

Special Pass

Special Pass is provided to students and dependents to prevent overstaying while awaiting further immigration processing, subject to applicable conditions.

Sticker Endorsement

Transfer Sticker is the process of transferring a valid current pass from an old passport to a new passport.
